The Deep Cypress Conservancy team broke ground onsite at Deep Cypress Gardens, Wednesday morning, April 19!
The ceremony featured a celebratory speech from Teri Quance, CEO/President of Deep Cypress Alliance, a blessing over the property from Reverend Gene Grounds and details about the future plans by Antonio Flamenco, founder of INsite Architecture. Attendees at the event included, officials from Harris County Precinct 4, the Cy-Fair Chamber of Commerce and Cy-Fair ISD. A special thank you to our Cypress neighbors, community leaders, friends and family that joined us for this meaningful milestone!
We believe that it is our duty as residents of the Cypress community to preserve our greenspaces, educate the masses on the importance of horticulture, while bringing the community together. With National Earth Day being this weekend, Saturday, April 22, we encourage you all to go outside and enjoy nature, volunteer or give to a cause to help power the movement.
We are here to educate and inspire action through Deep Cypress Gardens. Again, we are thankful your continuous support, please make sure you are subscribed to our mailing list so that you’re up-to-date on what we are doing!
